Episode #1

This is the first installment on this Adventures of a Punk Rock Family blog. My name is Meghan, I have just finished college and managed to get a good job in childrens' case management. I am married to Glenn, who works full time at a hotel, and works on his punk rock band. We are also the parents of Ruby (after Ruby Soho) who is 2 years old, and soon- to be the parents of Ramona (yes after the Ramones song). We started this blog to give people a glimpse of what its like to be a punk rock family. Even though Glenn is the one who goes on tour, that doesn't mean the craziness stops at our house.
Glenn is in a punk rock band called, The New 45 (check 'em out www.myspace.com/thenew45 ). He plays guitar and sings. They just put out their first CD on Knowhere Records, and returned last week from a 2 week tour. The tour took them from Maine to Maryland to West Virginia, and back and forth through Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois to Michigan, and finally-Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He and his bandmates are working hard to make this band reach its full potential.
And through all of this we are focused on our family, our marriage, having fun, and music. This is going to be a glimpse of what its like to have your life so full of craziness.
